In Roman mythology, Ceres is the goddess of agriculture. It is also the name of a dwarf planet somewhere out there.

There is also a bus company named Ceres Liner.  These buses are real fast that they were called rolling coffins for some time.

This post is about Ceres. Ceres is a runner friend who wanted to have a long run last Sunday. Since I have no race that day, I decided to join.

Before hand it was agreed that there was no place for us to leave our things so we have to bring only belt bags. It was also agreed that it was going to be Ceres’ pace.

Target distance was 21K. There were 3 of us who ran. It was a long slow distance run and boy, it really was slow.

It took us 3 hours and 2 pit stops to complete the distance. Ceres’ pace was between 8 to 10 minutes for every kilometer. It was the longest 21K for me.

I went home exhausted and sun burnt. No, I am not complaining. I had a lot of fun during the run but it was just exhausting.
